Write the standard form of the inequality in slope-intercept form and then graph solutions on grid.
:
The slope/intercept form is y = mx + b
-2x + 3y -> 6
3y => 2x + 6
y => (2/3)x + 6/3
y => (2/3x + 2 is the slope/intercept form
:
Make a table. example x = -3
y = (2/3)-3 + 2
y = -2 + 2
y = 0
:
Do the same with x = 0 and x = +3
:
x | y
-------
-3 | 0
0 | 2
+3 | 4
:
Plot these, your graph should look like this:
:
The inequality => means the area of feasibility is at or above the line on the graph
