Question 679874: Please help me solve this: 7+6a>19
Answer by fcabanski(1391)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve inequalities just like normal equations.

7 + 6a > 19 (subtract 7 from both sides) 6a > 12 (divide both sides by 6) a >2.

The only trick to solving inequalities is to switch the inequality sign if you divide by a negative number (i.e. if it's -x > 1 then you divide by -1 and switch the inequality x < -1).
