The absolute value of the quantity (x-2)>0.
I know one answer is 2, but the homework says there are 2 answers. If you could, please help me to remember how to do this!! Thanks so much for all of your help.

Answer by Nate(3500)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
absolute value of a number is the square root of that number squared:

x - 2 > +0 and x - 2 < -0
x - 2 > 0 and x - 2 < 0
x > 2 and x < 2
All real numbers except for two.
