Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What is the inequalities and interval notation, -8<2x+6<4
sorry i was trying to put the line under the < sign but i couldn't
------
-8 <= 2x+6 <= 4
----
Subtract 6 along the line to get:
-14 <= 2x <= -2
------
Divide thru by 2 to get:
-7 <= x <= -1
-------------
Notation: [-7,-2]
-----
