let money spent on parks = x
money spent on streets = alos x
money spent on both = x+x=2x
urban renewal should equal the total amount spent on streets and parks.
urban renewal = 2x
x+x+2x = 950,000
4x= 950 000
x= 950 000/4
x=237500
$237,500 on parks and streets each
Balance = Urban renewal= $ 475 000
