Please solve the equation. -6(4x+3)=6(-4x-3).
-6(4x)-6(3)=6(-4x)+6(-3)
-24x-18=-24x-18
Do you see that the left and right side are exactly the same? This is an identity. The solution is all real numbers. This is because no matter what we substitute for x, both sides will always be equal.
