Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
what you have given is not an equation.
for an equation you need an = sign.
should you have added =0 after the 30g?
if yes then
6(5g+2)+30g=0
30g+12+30g=0
60g+12=0
60g=-12
g=-12/60
g=-1/5 or -0.2
proof
6(5*-0.2+2)+30*-0.2=0
6(-1+2)-6=0
6*1-6=0
6-6=0
0=0
