Question 585244: Hello can you assist me please. I am trying to do this problem. Thanks.
Solve the inequality. Enter INFINITY for 00 and –INFINITY for -00 as needed.)
(there is an underline under the < I was not able to put it underneath)
4 < = 3-y

? _________, __________ ?

Answer by sofiyac(983)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4 < = 3-y
subtract 3 from each side
1<-y divide(or multiply) each side by -1...since we're diviging by a negative number you have to switch the sign so you get
-1>=y so y is less than or equal to -1
(- infinity, -1]
