You can put this solution on YOUR website!
When you multiply or divide both sides of an inequalty by a negative number, switch the sign.
Example:
-3x<6
-3x/-3>6/-3
x>-2 [The signed is switched because we divided both sides by a (-3)]
.
Example:
-1/2x>6
(-2/1)(-1/2)x>(-2/1)(6)
x>-12 [The signed is switched because we multiplied both sides by (-1/2)
