Question 56528: Please help me.
2x - (4x + 3) < 6x + 3(x + 4)

Answer by funmath(2933)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x - (4x + 3) < 6x + 3(x + 4)
2x-(4x)-(3)<6x+3(x)+3(4)
2x-4x-3<6x+3x+12
(2-4)x-3<(6+3)x+12
-2x-3<9x+12
-9x-2x-3<-9x+9x+12
(-9-2)x-3<(-9+9)x+12
-11x-3<12
-11x-3+3<12+3
-11x<15
-11x/-11>15/-11 Flip the inequality any time you multiply or divide by a negative number:
x>-15/11
x>-1.3636...
<-------(=================>>
-3,-2,-1.3636,-1,0,1,2,3,4
Happy Calculating!!!
