SOLUTION: solve each inequality and graph the solution set
(3/5)(x-3)-(1/4)(7-5x)<(2/3)(3-x)-5
that is the problem. I have done this:
(15/5)(x-15/3)-(20/4)(7/1-20/5x)<6/3(3/1-x)-5

Question 552666: solve each inequality and graph the solution set
(3/5)(x-3)-(1/4)(7-5x)<(2/3)(3-x)-5
that is the problem. I have done this:
(15/5)(x-15/3)-(20/4)(7/1-20/5x)<6/3(3/1-x)-5
3(x-5)-5(7-4x)<2(3-x)-5
3x-15-35-20x<6-2x-5
-17x-50<1-2x
-17x+2x-50<1-2x+2x
-67<1
Can you let me know what I am doing wrong please, and give me a pointer pls.

solve each inequality and graph the solution set
(3/5)(x-3)-(1/4)(7-5x)<(2/3)(3-x)-5
that is the problem. I have done this:
(15/5)(x-15/3)-(20/4)(7/1-20/5x)<6/3(3/1-x)-5
It appears you multiplied by various numbers ???
3(x-5)-5(7-4x)<2(3-x)-5
3x-15-35-20x<6-2x-5
-17x-50<1-2x
-17x+2x-50<1-2x+2x
-67<1
Can you let me know what I am doing wrong please, and give me a pointer pls.
-------------
(3/5)(x-3)-(1/4)(7-5x)<(2/3)(3-x)-5
Multiply by 60 to eliminate the fractions.
36(x-3) - 15(7-5x) < 40(3-x) - 300
36x - 180 - 105 + 75x < 120 -40x - 300
111x - 285 < -180 - 40x
151x < 105
x < 105/151
