First solve it. It's just like solving an equation, but if when dividing by a negative number flip the inequality.


49-5x <= 27-x || Add x to both sides and subtract 49 from both sides
-4x <= -22 || Divide both sides by -4, flip the inequality.
x >= 5.5


A) When x is a real number the smallest value is 5.5.
B) When x is an integer the smallest value is 6. When the digit to be rounded is 5 or more round up. 5.5 rounded to the nearest integer is 6.
