Question 54054: graph each compound or absolute value inequality
x+y <= 1 or y <= 4
thank you

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
graph each compound or absolute value inequality
x+y <= 1 or y <= 4
You have to graph both of these on the same coordinate system
Graph the line y=-x+1
Shade the area below the line to
get the graph of y<-x+1
---------
Now graph the line y=4.
Shade the area below that line.
----------
Since yours is an OR problem you want
as your final graph the combination of
the two graphs.
Cheers,
Stan H.
