You are correct, the solution to 3y > 6 is y > 2
Now pick a number at random, say 0. So y = 0.
Now plug y = 0 into y > 2 to get 0 > 2.
Is this true? No, 0 > 2 is NOT true.
So y = 0 is NOT a solution to the inequality.
