y >= -1 and y >= 3
Draw a coordinate system.
Sketch the line y=-1 as a horizontal line through the points where y=-1
Shade the area above that line.
Sketch the line y=3 as a horizontal line through the points where y=3
Shade the area above that line.
The solution is the intersection of the two shaded area.
In your problem the intersection is all points where y is greater than
or equal to 3.
