Solve the compound inequality:
x+11 < - 1 or x + 11> 1
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve the compound inequality:
x+11 < - 1 or x + 11> 1
----
x < -11 or x > -10
----------------------------
To see the solution:
Draw a number line and label x= -11 and x= -10
-----
Put an open circle around each of the points x = -11 and x = -10
------
Draw a ray to the left from x = -11;
Draw a ray to the right from x = -10.
-------------------------------------------
That is the graph of the compound inequality.
