Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4x=7+2/x
Multiply both sides by "x" to get:
4x^2=7x+2
4x^2-7x-2=0
4x^2-8x+x-2=0
4x(x-2)+(x-2)=0
(x-2)(4x+1)=0
x=2 or x=-1/4
