You NEVER graph an inequality directly;
you graph its boundary, which is ALWAYS
an equality.

1st. Graph y = 1 as a dashed line.
That is the boundary.

2nd. Shade the half-plane ABOVE the boundary
because you want y to be GREATER than 1.
