b) multiply by a positive factor on both side : a%3Cb then ac%3Cbc

c) multiply by a negative factor and change sense of inequality

a%3Cb then ac%3Ebc if c<0

d) take a growing function a%3Cb then f%28a%29%3Cf%28b%29 if f growing

e) take a decreasing function and change sign, a%3Cb then g%28a%29%3Eg%28b%29 if g is decreasing
