Question 350686: How To Solve This lnequalities r+2r<30;9
Answer by haileytucki(390) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What is the ; in your problem? Is that a typo?
If not I worked the problem correctly as:
r+2r<309
Since r and 2r are like terms, add 2r to r to get 3r.
3r<309
Divide each term in the inequality by 3.
(3r)/(3)<(309)/(3)
Simplify the left-hand side of the inequality by canceling the common factors.
r<(309)/(3)
Simplify the right-hand side of the inequality by simplifying each term.
r<103
