Question 320396: How do I solve this nonlinear equation with inputs? I don't understand how to do it. Please explain it so I understand. Thanks
y = 8 – x^2

Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = 8 – x^2
IF this is a linear equation then:
y=-x^2+8
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, -x^2 +8).
Values are (0,8), (2.828,0) & (-2.828,0)
