Question 317985: I have to solve this inequality, but I do not remember how.
-5 < 3 – 4x ≤ 7
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-5 < 3 – 4x ≤ 7
Subtract 3
-8 < -4x ≤ 4
Divide by 4
-2 < -x ≤ 1
Divide by -1. That changes the polarities
2 > x >= -1 or
-1 ≤ x ≤ 2
