Question 310405: Since my understanding of english is not so great I need help on trying to Translate to Inequality and then solve them.
Somehow I find the answers based on my logics but I CAN'T write the inequalities on form of equation.
1. A baseball player is offered an annual salary of $200,000 or a base salary of $100,000 plus a bonus of $1,000 for each hit over 100 hits. How many hits must the baseball player make to ear over $200,000.
2. A pre-med student is taking chemisty course in which four test are given. To get an A, she must average at least 90 on the four tests. The student got scores of 91, 86, and 89 on the first three test. Determine what scores on the last test will allow her to get an A.
