Question 309770: How do I add and simplify the following:
8v/v^2 – 49 + v/v-7

Answer by palanisamy(496)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
8v/v^2 – 49 + v/v-7
=8v/(v-7)(v+7) + v/(v-7)
={8v-v(v+7)}/[(v+7)(v-7)]
={8v-v^2-7v}/(v+7)(v-7)
=(v-v^2)/(v+7)(v-7)
