multiply everything by "5" to clear the fraction
-15<5-2x<45
subtract everything by 5
-20<-2x<40
divide by 2
-10<-x<20
switch the signs to get x
10>x>-20
change it around so it makes sense

this is an "and" type of equation.
The < < separate the problem into two separate problems
and
They can be worked separately or simultaniously.
I will solve simultaniously.
- 5 from 3 5 and 9
divide all three parts by 2
Problem here is we have a negative variable. with inequalities, when we multiply or divide by a - , the < or > flips.
multiply by -1 to all parts and flip the < >
Now to graph this .. we like the smallest # on the left. Flip the whole thing end for end.
The graph is a number line beginning at -2 and going to +8, but the circles at those points are open, since they are not greater than or equal to.
