Question 296029: i need to know how to solve the equation two-thirds = 2 - 5x-3 over x-1
Answer by richwmiller(17219) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2/3=2-5x-3/(x-1)
But what is over x-1?
2-5x-3? x=-1/17
5x-3? x=5/11
-3? x = 1/30 (19+i sqrt(419)) and x = 1/30 (19-i sqrt(419))
