"Can anyone help me solve the following?" is insulting and belittling.
It stems from improper word usage.
"Can" means able or have the ability.
Of course we have the ability and are able.
So basically you are hinting that most of the tutors don't know how to solve the problem.
What you probably wanted to ask is "Would someone help me?"
but that has other problems.
Why should we give you priority? Everyone here wants help. Everyone here is having trouble.
You offered no work of your own but asked for "steps and full working". So where are your steps and full working of what you have tried. You have tried, haven't you?
It is an interesting math problem you posed.
The answers are actually staring you in the face if you know how to find them. The inequality tells you that the two points where the parabola cross the x axis are at (x-1)(x+5) >0
x=1 and x=-5
Now you have to find out where the inequality is >0 above the x axis at three sections.
x>1
between x=1 and x=-5 ie -5 and third x<-5

It so happens that the two sections we are interested are the first and third
so x>1 and x<-5 or -51
