Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(X^2-X-6)/(X^2-4)= ?
----------------------
= (x-3)*(x+2)/((x-2)*(x+2))
Cancel the x+2 terms
= (x-3)/(x-2)
