In any triangle, the sum of the lengths of two sides is greater than or equal to the third side
Given,Two sides of a triangle have lengths 2 and 8.
If x be the length of the third side, then
2+8>or=x
x< or=10

Draw a line segment and let it have length = 8.
At one end let the end point be the center of a
circle with radius = 2

To form a triangle draw a line segment from the
other end point to a point on the circle.

That latter segment is the 3rd side of the triangle
It's length must be greater than 8-2 and less than
8+2.

Ans: 6 < 3rd side < 10
