a+-+62+=+8%282+%2B+8a%29 Simplify the right side using the distributive property.
a+-+62+=+16+%2B+64a Subtract 16 from both sides of the equation.
a+-+78+=+64a Subtract a from both sides.
-78+=+63a Divide both sides by 63.
-78%2F63+=+a Reduce the fraction.
