First let's add 4x to both sides to look like this:
-7x+(4x)+15<27-4x+(4x)Combine like terms:
-3x+15<27 Now subtract 15 from both sides which gives us:
-3x<12 Now divide by -3 (Note when we divide by negative the < flips)
x>-4 There you go. Check the answer by using -3 and it should be correct.
