Question 23462: How do I solve 3x+2>4 ?
Answer by elima(1433) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x+2>4
You solve this just as you do if it was an = sign instead of an nequalitie.
First subtract 2 from both sides;
3x+2-2>4-2
3x>2
Now divide 3 from both sides;
>
x>2/3
