Use the set builder notation to describe the complete solution.
7/4(3x-1/2)-4/3<5/3
---------------------------------------------
(21/4)x - (7/8) - (4/3) < (5/3)
Add (4/3) to both sides to get:
(21/4)x - (7/8) < 3
Multiply thru by 8 to get:
42x - 7 < 24
Add 7 to both sides to get:
42x < 31
x < 31/42
----------------
Set Builder: {x| x < (31/42)}
