Question 156140: How do I know if a value is a solution for an inequality and how is this different from determining if a value is a solution to an equation?
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The checking process is the same. If you believe
a certain number is part of the solution set, replace
the variable with that number and see if you get
a true statement.
