Question 154192: Ok, This is my last problem and I cannot figure it out. Not in a textbook
Directions: Solve each inequality. State the solution set in interval notation and sketch its graph.
-1/2 (z-2/5)< 2/3(3/4z -6/5)
Please help

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(-1/2)(z-(2/5)) < (2/3)((3/4)z -(6/5))
(-1/2)z + (1/5) < (1/2)z - (4/5)
-z < -1
z > 1
Interval notation: (1,+inf)
Graph: Draw a number line; label a point "1"
Draw an open circle around that point.
Draw an arrow extending to the right from that circle.
That is the graph of the solution.
