Let x = final grade (which counts 1/3 of the grade)
:
= 70
:
96 + x = 3(70)
:
x = 210 - 96
:
x = 114 to get an av grade of 70
:
and
:
= 79
:
96 + x = 3(79)
:
x = 237 - 96
:
x = 141 to get an av grade of 79
:
The range would be 114 to 141
