What is the solution to the compound inequality - 2x + 11 ≥ x + 5 > 6 ?
- 2x + 11 ≥ x + 5 > 6
If a>=u>b then a>=u and u>b
- 2x + 11 ≥ x + 5
add 2x to both sides
11>=3x+5
subtract 5 from both sides
6>=3x
divide by 3
2>= x
x<=2 ----------------------------1
x + 5 > 6
subtract 5 from both sides
x>1-------------------2
From 1 & 2
