Honestly,     I do not understand the meaning of this post.


First,     there is no any equation in it.

What we see as   y = x^2 -10x + 25,   is not an equation.

It is a   DEFINITION  of the  FUNCTION   y(x).


Second,  when I see such formula   y = x^2 - 10x + 25,   I know that the next move is to transform it this way

            y = .

The rest in the post is   NONSENSE.

Looking into the post by @josgarithmetic, I am more and more strengthened in the idea
that posts like this one should be destroyed/deleted from the input stream immediately/instantly.


Notice that the Table in the @josgarithmetic solution is filled  INCORRECTLY.
This person is not able add,  subtract and multiply numbers correctly in the range from  1  to  10.

What you ask is for the most part just simple substitution and simple multiplication arithmetic facts. Factorization will make it a little easier.
