A company makes backpacks and briefcases. Daily output cannot exceed a total of
40 backpacks and briefcases. A maximum of 20 backpacks can be made in one day.
The maximum daily output of briefcases is 30. How many of each bag can the
company produce in a single day?
write a written inequality to express the answer.
x = no of backpacks
y = no of briefcases

Any of these cases where x+y = 40

The company can produce any of these numbers of bags in a single day.
However the company does not have to produce 40 if they don't wish to.
These are the maximum cases where 40 bags are produced in a day.

10 backpacks and 30 briefcases.
11 backpacks and 29 briefcases.
12 backpacks and 28 briefcases.
13 backpacks and 27 briefcases.
14 backpacks and 26 briefcases.
15 backpacks and 25 briefcases.
16 backpacks and 24 briefcases.
17 backpacks and 23 briefcases.
18 backpacks and 22 briefcases.
19 backpacks and 21 briefcases.
20 backpacks and 20 briefcases.

This is a bad problem. It is very poorly stated. Did you copy it exactly?
