Question 1122005: Hi the question I need help on is to make a equation and solve it algebraic . The problem is Karen started to work as a cashier in a supermarket earning $10 per hour. Her goal is to save $500 for her trip. How many hours does she need to work if she already has $50 saved.

The equation is:


50 + 10*x = 500   dollars,


where the unknown "x" is the number of hours for Karen to work.
