x*(x+1) > 6 is equivalent to

 > 6 is equivalent to

 > 0 is equivalent to

(x+3)*(x-2) > 0.

The last inequality has two sets of solutions: 1) x < -3, and 2) x > 2.

In the interval form: (,-3) U (2,).

Solved.
