i believe you mean -x >= - 3
multiply both sides of the inequality by -1 to get x <= 3
when you multiply or divide both sides of an inequality by a negative number, it reverses the inequality.
when x is <= 3, like say when x = 0, the -x >= -3 becomes 0 >= -3 which is true.
when x is equal to 3, then -3 >= -3 which is true.
