Question 102463: I am unsure how to do this problem:
Suppose the grades in your Language Arts class range from 68 to 94. Represent this information on a number line after writing a compound inequality using (g)
Thank you for any help you can give that helps me to understand how to do this.

Answer by doukungfoo(195)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If you grades in Language Arts class range from 68 to 94 that means they fall inbetween those numbers. Express this as a compound inequality using g
and
Another way to write the same thing would be:

This way it is easy to tell that for all values of g we know that they must be equal either 68 and 94 or they must be a number inbetween 68 and 94

To show on a number line you would put a solid dot on 68 and a solid dot on 94 then draw a line inbetween them.
thats it.
