Hi Kevin. I teach a ton of ninth graders. Here's what you do...from
2 - x >= 11 - 7
you simplify what's on the right first and get
2 - x >= 4
then subtract the two from both sides...
-x >= 2
Now the tricky part...we multiply both sides by -1...when we do that REMEMBER to switch the inequality sign...like this...
x <= -2
To graph it, make a solid point at -2 and point an arrow to the left...that's it!
