Well, there is an easy way and a harder way...you have to ask yourself,
"What is the smallest number 16, 20 and 30 go into evenly?"
The easier way is to multiply all three numbers and then reduce them by twos and threes, etc.
The harder and surer way is to factor each into their prime factors...
16 = 2^4
20 = 2^2 * 5
30 = 2 * 3 * 5
and then collect highest powers anywhere to get
LCM = 2^4 * 3 * 5 = 240
