Question 1000808: I am supposed to solve this inequality and write the answer in interval notation and then plot the answer but I am stuck! Here is what I have so far:
|2x – 1| + 10 ≥ 5
|2x – 1| + 10-10 ≥ 5-10
|2x – 1|≥-5
I think the answer is No Solution because an absolute value cannot equal a negative. Am I wrong?

Answer by fractalier(6550)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You're okay, except that since an absolute value will always be non-negative, no matter what value you put in for x, you will get something that is greater than -5. So I would say, all real numbers is the solution.
