Question 974993: How would I write, Three times the sum of half a natural number and twice the number before it.
I think it might be 3(n/2+2(n+1)) I'm just not sure. n/2 is a fraction by the way, n over 2.
Thank you

Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
n = some unknown natural number

n/2 = half of that natural number

n-1 = number right before the unknown natural number

2*(n-1) = twice the number before the natural number n
