Question 958805: Amanda score 5 points higher on her midterm and 13 points higher on her final than she did on her first exam. If her average score for the while semester was 90, what score did she earn on her midterm?
Answer by CubeyThePenguin(3113)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
score on first exam = x

(x + (x + 5) + (x + 13))/3 = 90
3x + 18 = 270
3x = 252
x = 84

score on midterm = x + 5 = 89
