Answer by CubeyThePenguin(3113) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/x + 1/(3x) = 1/9
4/(3x) = 1/9
x = 12
The first watering system can complete the job in 12 minutes and the second watering system can complete the job in 36 minutes.
