Problem: During the 1998-1999 Little League season, the Tigers played 57 games. They lost 21 more games than they won. How many games did they play that season? Answer by ewatrrr(24785) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hi,
They lost 21 more games than the games won.
wins + losses = 57 games played
x + (x+21) = 57
2x = 36
x = 18, games won and 39 lost
